Is-sinjal għal HIGH JUMP isir biż-żewġ idejn. Id waħda tieħu l-forma ta’ 1 bil-pala tħares ’il ġewwa u bil-werrej orizzontali. L-id tieqaf bil-werrej livell mal-għonq. L-id l-oħra tieħu l-forma ta’ V bil-pala tħares ’l isfel u bil-ponot tas-swaba’ ’l isfel ukoll. The sign for HIGH JUMP is made with both hands. One hand takes the shape of 1 with the palm facing inwards and the index finger horizontal. The hand is held stationary at neck level. The other hand takes the shape of V with the palm facing downwards and the finger tips pointing downwards too. The hand moves up towards the index finger of the stationary hand, turns so that the palm now faces inwards, then moves up above the index finger and the V fingers turn over so that when they reach their destination downwards, the fingertips point upwards.
